CTR-Cameroon signs partnership agreement with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (SCBD) to cooperate on a Project entitled “Assessing the Impacts of Potential Pollutants and Bycatch on the Genetic Diversity of Shark and Ray Populations along the Cameroon Coastline: Towards Sustainable Conservation Strategies”.
The overall objective of this Project is to foster long-term technical and scientific cooperation between CTR-Cameroon, AMMCO (African Marine Mammal Conservation Organization, Cameroon), and Boz Institute – Life Science Research and Teaching Institute (United States of America) on developing evidence-based conservation strategies to mitigate the impacts of pollutants and bycatch on shark and ray populations along the Cameroon coastline.
