The Center for Tropical Research, Cameroon (CTR-Cameroon) is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research, fostering sustainable development, and conserving the rich biodiversity of Cameroon’s tropical forests.

We work in close partnership with local communities, academic institutions, and global collaborators to generate actionable science, restore ecosystems, and address the pressing challenges of climate change and human–wildlife coexistence.

Through inclusive training and capacity building, we empower the next generation of conservation leaders, ensuring that knowledge, skills, and opportunities are shared equitably to safeguard biodiversity and promote resilient livelihoods for present and future generations.
